ABOUT US

Revival House is a contemporary Christian church. We are passionate about reaching souls for Jesus Christ, and everything we do is about Him. We are a local church committed to helping others find a spiritual awakening or reawakening that expresses our love for God, appreciation of God’s holiness, passion for His Word and His church, conviction and repentance of sin, demonstrating a spirit of humility, and a relentless pursuit for growth in right-living that is pleasing to the Lord.

Our focus is on being a church that loves God and loves people. Our hearts desire is to reach out with the love of Christ to those lost and hurting in our community, nation and world. Revival House seeks to revitalize and deepen a believer’s faith, opening his or her eyes to the truth in a fresh, new way. Our church is set on providing everyone an opportunity for a fresh start with a clean slate, marking a new beginning of a life lived in obedience and surrendered to God.

God loves you, no matter what you’ve done, no matter where you’ve been… you are not too far from God. “For God knows that plans that He has for you.” We invite you to explore what His plan is for your life. You are welcome here!

OUR CORE VALUES

What we believe

  • We believe that the Bible is the sole basis of our faith. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. It is inspired by God, it is the truth without error, it is trustworthy, and it is the final authority.
  • God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.
  • Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death and ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again.
  • The Holy Spirit is present in the world to make us aware of our need for Jesus and He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation.
  • People are made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God’s creation. All of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin” creating our need for a Savior.
  • Salvation is God’s free gift to use, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement of good works. If you have been genuinely saved, born-again and a new creation, you cannot “lose” it. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.
  • People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and Hell are real places of eternal existence.
  • The church exists to glorify God and to love people so that those who are far from God will become fully alive in Christ.
